Just another Bluebird Friday…

Update

At 8am Friday morning no new snow has fallen overnight with bright sunny skies over Lone Mountain and a temperature of 19 degrees in the village. For today expect a boring forecast of blue skies and sun throughout the day with a high temperature of 34 degrees at 8000’. Light West/SW winds of 8-10mph with gusts up to 20mph will be present on the ridge tops. Make sure to slap on those dark lenses today…

Clouds with moderate SW winds move in with a cold front late Saturday morning with chances of light snow developing that may drop a skiff to an inch through the afternoon hours. High temps at 8000’ Saturday will stay mild at around 30 degrees. Saturday evening light snow continues that may bring an additional 1-2” through the overnight. Sunday will be considerably colder with brisk north winds of 10-20mph with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 18 degrees (8000’). The sun returns Monday with highs in the mid 20’s. Our next chance for measurable snow looks to arrive Tuesday morning and last into Tuesday. Still too early for details but I’ll keep ya’ posted…
