A Windy Wednesday

Update

At 8am Wednesday morning no new snow has fallen overnight with partly cloudy skies over Lone Mountain and a temperature of 24 degrees in the village. For today expect a windy day with a mix of clouds and sun and a high temperature of 31 degrees at 8000’. A High Wind Warning is currently in effect until 7pm for West winds of 25-35mph with gusts up to 60mph, which could possibly affect some lift operations out there today.

High-pressure ushers in a warming trend on Thursday and Friday with mostly sunny skies and daytime highs rising into the upper 30’s (8000’). Looking into the weekend, clouds slowly increase through the day on Saturday with a high of 40 degrees likely at 8000’. Snow then develops in advance of a cold front Saturday night into Sunday that looks to bring moderate snow amounts to the resort through last chair on Sunday. Powder Sunday?
