Breezy Saturday

Summary

Overcast skies and flurries along with gusty SW winds of 25-35 mph will be the weather story today. Our next chance of a decent snowfall is expected on Tuesday.

Update

Today:

At 7:00AM it’s 26 degrees in the Village and 18 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (at 8800’). Skies are currently cloudy across both Lone and Andesite Mountains.

Clouds will stick around through most of the day today along with moderate SW winds. Mid-mountain high temperatures will rise to around 23 degrees at 8500’. Winds will be moderate out of the SW at 25mph with gusts to 35mph.

Extended Forecast:

On Sunday, clouds and moderate SW winds stick around with a stray snow flurry possible but no accumulations likey. Temps on Sunday will be about 5 degrees warmer than Saturday. Monday looks to be quite similar with clouds and gusty SW winds. Next storm system approaches late Monday night that looks to bring moderate snow amounts (4-8”) to the mountain on Tuesday. High-pressure is quick to build on Wednesday and looks to bring sunny skies daily into Christmas Day.
