Mild Monday and Tuesday / Snow on the Way for Wednesday
Summary
High-pressure will deliver a partly sunny day Monday along with upper mountain high temperatures approaching 30 degrees. Tuesday looks to be similar but a tad windier. A deep trough of low-pressure moves into the area Tuesday night and looks to bring snow well into Wednesday evening with storm totals of 6 to 10 inches.

Today:
At 7:00AM it’s 12 degrees in the Village and 16 degrees at the top of Andesite Mountain (at 8800’). No new snow fell in the last 24 hours. Currently the skies are partially clear with some high clouds over Lone and Andesite Mountains. East/NE winds at the top of Andesite are currently blowing at 5 mph with a recent gust to 9 mph.
Today expect a partly sunny day with a few scattered high clouds in the mix as well. Temperatures across mid to upper mountain locations (9000’) will again be warm today with a high around 30 degrees. Winds again will shift to the south this morning blowing at 10 mph with gusts to 20 mph up on the ridgetops.
Extended Forecast:
Another sunny day Tuesday with high temps around 30 (@ 9000’). Tuesday night, clouds increase with snow developing before midnight with 3-5 inches likely overnight. Wednesday still looks promising with another 3 to 5 inches likely through the day. Wednesday night wrap around snow showers could bring another 1 -3 inches. Unsettled, snow showery weather looks to stick around through next Friday.
