Thursday

The storm arrived as scheduled on Wednesday evening and delivered 4 inches for Thursday morning's report. The forecast called for 1-3 inches so no real surprises with this storm.

Temperatures are now hovering around 0F on Thursday morning and they will not move much for the rest of Thursday. There could also be a few lingering snow showers here and there but any accumulations will be limited to a dusting to maybe an inch if we're lucky.

Bundle up and enjoy the cold freshies!

Friday - Sunday

Another extended period of dry weather will then settle in beginning on Friday.

Expect mostly sunny skies and temps in the upper 20s to low 30s on Friday, followed by a jump into the 30s on Saturday. Sunday could then feature slightly cooler temps and partly to mostly cloudy skies.

Next Week & Beyond

Looking ahead to next week, we'll be tracking a chance for "something" on Monday but the latest model trends really don't have this amounting to much as the storm splits to our north and south. At this point, I'm only expecting an increase in cloud coverage and maybe a few snow showers.

We'll then be tracking a stronger storm that will push through the Intermountain West beginning as early as Tuesday night, followed by heavier snowfall rates on Wednesday, February 15. Keep an eye on Wednesday and/or Thursday of next week for soft turns.

Following another break during the second half of next week, we'll be tracking more storminess around February 18-22. Let the storms continue.
