By Powderchaser Steve, Forecaster Posted 2 hours ago December 12, 2024

Chases Include Sierra, PNW, BC, & Northern Rockies

Summary

There are three storms to watch. The initial phase hits the Sierra Thursday with moderate, decent-quality powder. The second surge of moisture brings in warmer, windier, and deeper snow for the Sierra on Saturday. The PNW and BC will grab heavy snowfall, favoring the north. Central Idaho, the Wasatch, and the Tetons should nab 5-11 inches this weekend, initially warm, followed by cooling.
