High-side surprise at Aspen and Crested Butte

Summary

Sunday night’s snowfall dropped 2-5 inches on most mountains with deeper totals of 6-11 inches around Aspen and Crested Butte in the central mountains. Monday morning will be a fun powder day at those areas! After Monday mid-morning, expect a few snow showers with limited additional accumulations. Tuesday through Friday will be dry and warm. In the longer range, we’ll keep our eye on two storms. One will bring snow from later Sat, Mar 7 through Tue, Mar 10, and the second will bring snow around Thu, Mar 12 to Fri, Mar 13.
