A report of five inches and more snow on the way

Summary

Thursday night's forecast worked out reasonably well with intense precipitation in the southern mountains and high-elevation snow accumulations. On Friday and Saturday, snow showers will stick around. Sunday, Monday, and most of Tuesday will be dry. On Tuesday night and Wednesday, showers will return. Then around Sunday, October 11th, there's a chance for a colder storm with snow.
