Light snow Friday, then a stormy period begins later next week

Summary

Thursday was dry, then on Thursday night and now on Friday morning, light snow fell over the northern mountains with 1-2 inches for many mountains and 5+ inches at Steamboat. Friday during the day will bring more snow showers to the northern mountains. Saturday through next Wednesday will be dry. Then a stormy period should start around December 23 and could last into 2022.
