Three near misses, maybe one direct hit

Summary

We'll see mostly dry weather through the next week, though three storms could each bring a few flakes on Dec 31, Jan 3, and Jan 5. Then we'll have a high chance for a colder and stronger storm starting late on Sunday, January 7, or early Monday, January 8. And we might see cooler weather and additional snow chances for the rest of that week.
