First significant storm of the season on Friday and Saturday

Summary

Wednesday will be warm with a few showers, Thursday will be windy with additional showers, and Friday and Saturday will be snowy with the deepest accumulations of 1-2 feet over the southern mountains. On Sunday and Monday, the storm should linger with cool air and additional snow showers. Then the next chance for a storm will be around October 26-31.
