Update

Friday was stormy all day with waves of intense snow and gusty winds during the afternoon. I see 3 inches of total snowfall which unfortunately came in below our 4-8 inch range. It was unlucky that we didn’t see another wave or two of intense snow.

Now on Saturday morning, you’ll find chilly temperatures in the single digits above zero, light winds, and some mid-and-high level clouds filtering the sunshine. While most of Friday’s snow was skied during the day, the winds during the evening could have blown some of it around, and with 1/2 to 1 inch of snow falling on Friday night, you might find soft and/or untracked turns early on Saturday morning.

The weather from Saturday through Tuesday should be dry (maybe just a few light snow showers on Saturday) with high temperatures in the 20s to low 30s.

Our next chance for snow will be from Tuesday night through Thursday, January 21-23. The early estimate for this storm is somewhere in the 4-8 inch range with the best chance to enjoy powder on Wednesday or perhaps Thursday morning.

After that system, our next chance for snow will be around Tuesday to Thursday, January 28-30.

Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
