Tuesday was mostly sunny with soft conditions and temperatures rising to the upper teens to low 20s.

Wednesday should be a partly sunny day with high temperatures similar to Tuesday, topping out in the upper teens to low 20s.

On Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night, a weak storm will bring light snow mostly to the south and east of the mountain. We might see light accumulations during this time with perhaps a coating to an inch or two of snow.

For Thursday and Friday, both days will be beautifully sunny with comfortable temperatures. Readings will hit the low-to-mid 20s on Thursday and will rise to about 30°F on Friday

There is a change to the forecast for Saturday and Sunday. A storm will move through Colorado and the latest forecasts show that this system will track about 100 miles farther north than we previously expected. This means that instead of dry weather through the weekend, we will likely see snow between Saturday late afternoon and Sunday with at least a few inches of accumulation. I’ll let you know if this northward trend in the forecast holds and if we have a chance for powder on Sunday.

Looking ahead to next week, the good news is that snow will continue with a storm likely bringing multiple days of fresh flakes on Monday, Tuesday, and maybe even into Wednesday. It’s too soon to estimate snow totals during this time, but multiple days of snow typically bring the best chances for deep powder and fun conditions, so I am cautiously excited about our chances for powder early next week.
