Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Midweek powder coming up at Copper
Summary
Look for dry weather through Tuesday then a significant storm on Wednesday and Thursday.
Short Term Forecast
On Saturday we saw snow showers all day with 3 inches on the mid-mountain stake, then an additional inch fell on Saturday night. Total snowfall from Friday night to Saturday night was 6 inches.
Sunday will be a gorgeous, sunny day with high temperatures in the 20s.
Monday could be a cloudier day with high temperatures in the 30s.
Tuesday might return to a bit more sunshine and again we’ll see warm temperatures with highs in the 30s.
On Wednesday and Wednesday night, snow will return, with the best chance for snow from Wednesday afternoon through early Thursday morning. Wednesday will be a warmer day with thicker snow, then on Wednesday night, colder air should move in with fluffier snow falling into Thursday morning. Total snowfall could be 5-10 inches and might be more if all factors come together.
Extended Forecast
Following potentially drier weather on Thursday, another storm could bring snow from Friday through Saturday. Snow totals could be anything from a few inches to double digits and it’s too soon to make the call. Keep your eye on Friday through the weekend for potentially stormier weather and additional powder.
With the uncertainty around the storm for next weekend, I don’t have much confidence in the forecast for the following week, February 8-12, so we’ll wait to discuss that forecast for at least a few days.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
