Sunny for now, then another storm
Summary
Friday and Saturday will be dry and warmer days, and then winter will return.
Update
Thursday was a fun, soft day across the mountain thanks to the 5 inches of snow that fell on Wednesday night and the surprising 4 inches that fell on Thursday morning (I thought we'd see some accumulation on Thursday, but not a quick 4 inches of fluffy snow during the morning).
Coming up, we'll have a break in the weather with dry conditions and partly sunny skies on Friday and Saturday. High temperatures on Friday will be in the 20s, and high temperatures on Saturday will be warmer and will reach the 30s.
On Sunday, we'll see dry and mostly cloudy weather during most of the day with temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s.
Then from Sunday evening through Monday night, a storm will bring snow to all of Colorado and my initial estimate is that Copper will see 5-10 inches. I think our best chance for powder will be on Monday, and we might see snow showers continue through Monday evening, so Tuesday could wind up offering soft conditions as well.
Looking far ahead, we should have dry and warm weather from Wednesday, March 23, to Sunday, March 27. After that, it's possible that we will see another storm sometime between March 28-31.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
