Dry weekend, then snow for Monday
Summary
Saturday and Sunday will both be dry and warm. Then we'll have some powder to start the week.
Update
Friday was a partly sunny day with a high temperature in the 20s.
Now on Saturday, the early-morning skies are clear.
Saturday will be a partly sunny day with some high clouds filtering the sunshine and the high temperature should be in the 30s.
Sunday will be similar with partly sunny skies and a high in the 30s. Later on Sunday afternoon, there could be a few showers, though I think most of the day will stay dry.
From Sunday night through Tuesday morning, a storm will track south of Colorado. This is not a great track for us to see a lot of snow, but, we should at least see some snow on Sunday night through Monday with potential low-end powder amounts by Monday midday, and then snow showers could continue through Monday, Monday night, and even into Tuesday and Tuesday night. Total snowfall should be in the 4-8 inch range, and the best chance to enjoy some powder should be on Monday with soft and cold snow likely extending into Tuesday.
After that, we'll head into a springtime weather pattern with showers ending on Wednesday, March 23, and dry weather through about Monday, March 28. Each day should get a little warmer with high temperatures climbing into the 30s and 40s.
But winter likely is not over just yet as there should be another storm or two between March 29 to April 2.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
