Snow on Sunday Night
Summary
Sunday will be dry and mostly cloudy, then snow will arrive by the evening.
Update
Saturday was warm with highs in the 30s to low 40s and we saw high clouds filtering the sunshine throughout the day.
Sunday will bring more of the same with high temperatures in the 30s and partly-to-mostly cloudy skies thanks to moisture moving into Colorado ahead of our next storm.
A storm will influence our weather from Sunday evening through Tuesday night, and while I have low confidence in snow amounts, we should see at least decent accumulations during these days.
The first chance for accumulating snow will be from Sunday evening through Monday morning with 2-5 inches and maybe softer conditions on Monday morning. Then after likely drier weather from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning, the second chance or accumulating snow will be from Tuesday late morning through Tuesday evening with another 2-4 inches and perhaps a few soft turns either on Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning. Temperatures will generally be in the teens and 20s on Monday and Tuesday, so it'll feel more like winter than the first few days of spring.
After this storm, Wednesday will bring more sunshine with high temperatures close to 30 degrees.
Then Thursday, March 24 to Sunday, March 27 should be dry and warm with highs in the 30s on Thursday and Friday and in the 40s on Saturday and Sunday. These are the days that will feel like spring.
Looking far ahead, there will be two possible storms during the next two weeks with the first one around March 28-29 and the second one around April 2. But of course, it's too soon to figure out any details about these systems.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
