Warmth continues, then snow on Tuesday

Summary

Very warm temperatures will continue on Sunday and Monday before snow returns on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Update

Saturday was sunny and very warm with on-mountain temperatures in the 45-55°F range. It was full-on spring skiing and riding!

Now on early Sunday morning, skies continue to be mostly clear.

The forecast for Sunday and Monday is for continued dry weather and very warm temperatures with on-mountain afternoon highs in the 45-55°F range. Enjoy springtime!

Then the weather will switch with snow returning from late Monday night and continuing through Wednesday. Within this time, we could see showers and some accumulating snow on Tuesday, and then I think our best chance for steadier snow and deeper accumulations will be late Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday midday thanks to a favorable wind from the northwest. After that, snow showers with light additional accumulations might continue through Wednesday. Total snowfall should be in the 5-10 inch range (the favorable wind direction could give us a chance to hit the top end of the range) and I think the best powder will be on Wednesday morning.

Following the storm, we'll see dry weather on Thursday, and then another round of snow showers should deliver a few inches of accumulation on Friday, April 1st (that's not a joke:-).

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
