Warming up
Summary
The end of the week will be dry, then we should see a bit of snow during the weekend.
Update
Wednesday turned out to be a mixed day with some sunshine, some clouds, a few snowflakes, continued gusty winds, and chilly temperatures in the teens on the upper mountain.
Thursday and Friday will feel a lot more like spring as we'll see slower winds and warmer temperatures that rise into the upper 20s on Thursday, and into the upper 30s on Friday. Both Thursday and Friday will be fully sunny days.
Saturday should start with mostly sunny skies and light winds, and temperatures will rise into the upper 30s to low 40s. Then by Saturday afternoon, we'll see more clouds and gusty winds and there will likely be snow showers from Saturday late afternoon through Saturday night and into Sunday morning.
On Sunday morning, we should have a few inches of new snow on the mountain thanks to Saturday night's showers, then the rest of Sunday will be mixed with a few lingering showers, some sunshine, gusty winds at the upper mountain, and a high temperature in the 20s.
Looking ahead to next week, Monday could bring snow showers, then Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be the days with the best chance for significant snow. It's still a bit too soon to lock in one or more of these days as powder days, but there will be a chance for significant snow during this time.
