Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Friday storm day
Summary
On Friday, expect snow and strong winds. There will be some powder and likely some lift delays, too.
Update
Thursday was a dry day.
Then on Thursday night, wind speeds increased as the storm approached.
Now on Friday morning, the snow has just started with about 1 inch of accumulation as the sun rises.
For Friday, expect a stormy day with periods of intense snow and very fast wind gusts of 40-60mph through early afternoon. The new snow could amount to 4-8+ inches, though the fast wind gusts will make the new snow feel thicker and could delay or close some lifts. It'll be a tricky day to ride due to the wind. The best conditions might be during Friday midday into the afternoon after more snow has accumulated and once the wind speeds (somewhat) slow down.
For Saturday into Sunday, another storm should bring snow later on Saturday into Sunday morning with maybe 2-4+ inches of accumulation. I have VERY LOW CONFIDENCE in this forecast. Keep your eye on Sunday morning for potential low-end powder conditions.
For Monday into Tuesday, yet another storm will bring a narrow band of intense snow to an area of the northern or central mountains of Colorado (we are in the northern mountains). This band of snow could produce 5-10+ inches of accumulation but yet again I have VERY LOW CONFIDENCE in the exact location of this band of snow. Keep your eye on Monday and/or Tuesday for potential powder conditions.
For Wednesday into Thursday, a third storm should deliver additional flakes with the potential for a few inches of snow accumulation.
Then in the longer range, additional storms are possible around Dec 9-11 and again around Dec 14-16.
