Copper Mountain Daily Snow
By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 2 years ago December 18, 2022
A storm is on the way for midweek
Summary
Sunday and Monday will be dry, then we'll see snow from Tuesday through Thursday.
Update
Saturday was a gorgeous day with sunny skies and temperatures that warmed into the teens.
Sunday and Monday will also be sunny with comfortable temperatures that will rise into the teens to low 20s during the middle of the day.
On Tuesday, I expect more clouds, snow showers, and maybe some accumulating snow, though I have low confidence in this.
On Wednesday, the storm will arrive. Snowfall should ramp up, especially during the second half of the day, and then we'll see intense snow and strong winds between late Wednesday afternoon and early Thursday morning. Total snowfall from Wednesday to Thursday morning should be 5-10 inches and the best powder will likely be on Thursday morning's first chair.
After this midweek storm, we could see light snow or a break in the snow on Thursday, then another storm should bring additional snow on Friday and Saturday (December 23-24).
