Solid Saturday morning

Summary

Friday morning was a lull in the storm, and then we saw more snow on Friday evening, so Saturday morning should be quite fun.

Update

On Friday morning, we had a lull in the storm, and then I expected snow squalls to bring a few more inches of snow on Friday afternoon and evening.

In reality, this is about what we saw as 1 inch accumulated on Friday and another 2 inches fell on Friday night, and this will set up Saturday morning with soft turns as a low-end powder morning.

Get it while the powder is cold on Saturday, and dress warmly as temperatures will be in the upper single digits to the low teens.

Looking ahead, we'll have a chance for light snow from Sunday into Monday, and then we'll be dry until our next chance for a storm around December 18-20.

In the coming days, I'll spend more time discussing the longer-range outlook through the end of December.
