Cooler this weekend, snow on Tuesday
Summary
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday will be cool with high temperatures in the 20s, and then we'll receive a few inches of snow from Monday night to Tuesday.
Update
Friday was rather warm with a high in the 30s and a gusty wind during the afternoon.
Now on Saturday, cooler temperatures have arrived with morning readings in the teens and a high going up to the 20s.
A storm to our northwest delivered this cool air, but unfortunately, this storm won't deliver much snow, with just a low chance for a few snow showers on Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
Sunday and Monday will continue to be cool, with high temperatures in the 20s.
On Monday and Tuesday, the next storm will push into Colorado. While it will lack moisture and strength, it should have enough positive factors to bring us at least a few inches of snow. The range of model forecasts is 1-6 inches, and the outcome could be anything from a slight refresh to a low-end powder day if we push toward the 6-inch mark. Also, Tuesday will be cold, with temperatures in the single digits, so dress warmly.
After that, Wednesday, November 20 to Sunday, November 24 should be mostly sunny, dry, and warmer with high temperatures in the 30s.
Then during Thanksgiving week, there will be a chance for snow to return to Colorado, but I have near zero confidence about any details, so we'll wait to talk about this for at least a few more days.
My next update will be on Sunday morning.
