Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Sunny Sunday, then snow Monday night and Tuesday
Summary
Sunday will be sunny with highs in the 20s, Monday will be partly cloudy with highs in the 20s, and then we should see 2-5 inches of snow from Monday night through Tuesday afternoon.
Update
On Saturday night, a snow shower delivered just a few flakes, and now on Sunday morning, skies are once again clear and we can see snowmaking ongoing across the mountain.
Terrain is still limited, but coverage across the mountain looks pretty good and I'd hope for more lifts and trails to open soon.
Weatherwise, Sunday will be sunny and cool with a high temperature in the 20s, and Monday will bring increasing clouds with a high temperature in the 20s and the chance for a few snow showers during the midday and afternoon.
Then on Monday night, a storm will bring a period of moderate-to-intense snow, with snow showers continuing throughout the day on Tuesday. Storm total snowfall could be in the 2-5 inch range, with a lot of this falling on Monday night and random snow showers adding a little bit to the total on Tuesday. With this new snow, conditions should be somewhat soft on Tuesday morning, and if you're heading out on Tuesday, dress warmly as daytime temperatures will stay in the 5-10°F range.
After the storm, we'll see dry weather from Wednesday, November 20 through about Sunday, November 24. Temperatures will rise during this time with highs in the 20s on Wednesday and highs in the 30s on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The outlook for Thanksgiving week is looking stormier with chances for snow returning to Colorado. I wish I could be more definitive about the timing or amount of the new snow, but at this point, all of the longer-range forecast models differ about the details of the potential storms, so we'll have to be patient and see how the forecast evolves over the coming days.
My next update will be on Monday morning.
