Storm #1
The storm arrived on Monday night and dropped just 1 inch by Tuesday morning at 500 am.
Between 5 am and now at 7 am (as I write this), little snow accumulated, though now at 7 am, more intense snow seems to have arrived, or will arrive very soon.
There should continue to be intense snow during the morning, and then snow showers will continue throughout Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday evening, likely ending at around midnight.
Additional snowfall should be 7-11+ inches, and this means Tuesday's conditions will deepen throughout the day, and Wednesday's first chair should be soft/deep/fun.
Temperatures during the storm will generally be in the 15-25°F range, so the snow quality should be pretty fluffy.
Storm #2
The second storm this week will track over southeast Colorado, and this is not an ideal track for Copper.
Still, there could be some snow from Wednesday night to Thursday night, and Copper might be able to eke out 2-5 inches of accumulation.
Storm #3
The third storm this week will track to the south of Colorado, and again this is not an ideal track for Copper.
There could be some snow from Friday night to Saturday night, and I expect 2-5 inches of accumulation.
Longer Range
All of the longer-range forecast models agree that Sunday, April 6, through Tuesday, April 15 (and maybe beyond) will trend toward spring conditions with mostly drier weather and warmer temperatures.
This 15-day forecast could change, but for now, it looks like we'll move fully into spring mode starting on Sunday.
