Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago November 17, 2015
The official 5am Tuesday snow report showed 6 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours, and the snow should continue this morning with another 1-3 inches accumulating (a bit more if we’re lucky). Then we should see a break in the snow on Tuesday afternoon, but don’t worry as the skies won’t stay dry for long. Another 2-4 or 3-6 inches of snow could fall from Tuesday night through Wednesday night, so Wednesday might be another fun day with soft snow. Thursday will likely offer a break in the snowfall, then we a quick-hitting storm on Thursday night into Friday could drop another couple of inches, making for soft turns on Friday as well. To get the latest news about trail openings, download Copper’s free Sherpa app. Also, there should be more snow around Thanksgiving, so keep checking back to this weather forecast which I update every day.
