Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Two inches of snow fell on Tuesday morning, with another two inches on Tuesday night, so the slopes will continue to be soft and fun! I have 1-3 inches of additional snow in the forecast for the day on Wednesday as a moist flow of air from the northwest will continue. Winds will be strong and gusty at the summit, so be ready for this and think about (safely) skiing closer to the trees, which will help to block the wind.

The snowfall will end for a brief time on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, but it’ll come back Thursday night and Friday with 5-10 inches possible by Friday afternoon. In other words, Friday could be a powder day! Long weekend anyone? Download Copper’s free Sherpa app to stay in the know about terrain openings, and look forward to another storm sometime around Thanksgiving or in the days just after.
