Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Quick update on Wednesday night…

We saw about 2 inches accumulate during the day on Wednesday, and instead of slowing down tonight like I thought, the snow has actually picked up in intensity with another 2 inches falling between about 5pm and 10pm. I think we’ll see another 1-3 inches through midnight and then the snow might finally let up. Forecasting the nuances of snowfall during northwest flow is super tough and so far the forecast models have not been spot on. But if the atmosphere wants to produce more snow than the forecast, who am I to argue?! Enjoy the fresh snow on the slopes on Thursday morning, and expect another 5-10 inches from Thursday night through Friday evening, which will make Friday another great day. What a start to the season!
