Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Wednesday worked out well as we saw light snow all day with an inch of accumulation, then I was surprised as a quick burst of moderate snow dropped an unexpected 3 inches on Copper during Wednesday evening. The weather still offers us many surprises, but I won’t complain about extra snow! So far we’ve seen 14 inches of snow in the past 3 days and we should be able to get that number above 20 inches for this week as there is more snow in the forecast.

After a lull in the snow today on Thursday, snow will pick up Thursday evening and come down heavily for a few hours during the late morning and midday on Friday. Look for an additional 5-10 inches between Thursday night and Friday night, with the best powder during the middle of the day or afternoon on Friday. Download Copper’s free Sherpa app to stay in the know about terrain openings, and look forward to more snow later next week, around Thanksgiving.
