Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago November 21, 2015

Two inches of snow did fall on Copper during the day on Friday, and we were soooo close to getting a lot more as the band of heavier snow stayed just a few miles to our north. I was amazed that this band didn’t move over Copper and bring deeper accumulations, but hey, sometimes things don’t work out perfectly.

Still, there is fresh snow on the slopes, blue skies above, and good conditions under foot, so it’s tough to complain! Saturday morning’s below-zero temperatures will warm up into the mid 20s by midday, so don’t let the cold start deter you from enjoying a great day on the hill. Sunny weather should continue through Tuesday, then we’ll see our next round of snow begin around Wednesday night and continue through Thanksgiving Day. Turkey Day could be a powder day, so stay tuned as the storm gets closer and I can add more details to the forecast.
