Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago December 6, 2015
As expected, Copper received a few inches (2, to be exact) of new snow on Saturday morning during times of on-and-off snow showers. Then we cleared out on Saturday night, allowing temperatures to drop into the single digits, but don’t worry as we’ll warm up nicely into the upper 30s to low 40s on Sunday and Monday. During this time, there will be some sun, and also times of thin cirrus clouds diffusing the sunshine.
I have good news concerning the weather forecast of the next 7-10 days. After the potential for light snow from Monday afternoon through Tuesday night, we’ll see another weak storm on Wednesday night, then a stronger storm for Thursday night into Friday. Keep your eye on Friday as a potential powder day (6+ inches). Also, snow showers and cool air should continue over the weekend, with another storm and potential powder day early next week (Mon, Dec 14th or Tue, Dec 15th). We’re going to have some fun between the 11th and 15th, so stay tuned for updates!
