Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago December 7, 2015
Think of this week as the calm before the storms that will come during the middle of the month. We’ll see mostly dry weather on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with times of thin clouds and comfortable high temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s. We could also get lucky and experience flurries or light snow showers from Monday night through Tuesday night, and again on Wednesday night, though any snow accumulations should be light as the main part of the storm will stay to our north.
The fun will get going on either Thursday night or Friday as a strong cold front should bring moderate to heavy snow to Copper. Look for 4-8 inches with this storm and a good chance for a powder day on Friday. From Friday night through Sunday, I really don’t know what will happen. We could return to dry weather, or snow may continue to fall. And then there will likely be another stronger storm early the following week, around Tuesday, December 15th, plus or minus a day. Stay tuned for daily updates!
