Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago December 8, 2015
We received a few snow flurries and snow showers on Monday night into Tuesday morning, but accumulations were pretty minimal, really just a dusting. We should see some sun today with high temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s, and the story will be the same for Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 40s.
After a few more flurries on Wednesday night, Thursday will once again be dry, but then the fun will begin. A cold front should bring moderate to heavy snow Friday with at least 3-6 inches, and perhaps much more if the cold front stalls near Copper. Friday midday or afternoon should be a good powder day. Saturday and Sunday will be drier with times of flurries or a snow shower, then the next storm should bring heavier snow and possible powder days on Tuesday 12/15 and perhaps Wednesday 12/16.
