Update

It was snowy on Monday morning, and it was also 'blowy' as strong winds ripped across the mountain most of the day. Sometimes the atmosphere can get riled up, and yesterday was one of those days!

Now on Tuesday, the winds at the summit are still gusty and the sky is a mix of clouds and some clear patches. This is what we should expect for the rest of the day.

On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the winds should relax a bit and we should see more sun than clouds as high temperatures climb into the upper 30s and lower 40s.

In terms of our next snowfall, most models show the possibility of flakes on March 11-12, March 15, and March 19-ish. The storm track will generally stay to our north for the next two weeks, but it may drop far enough south to bring snow to Colorado on these dates.

The main takeaway is that I see plenty of spring skiing in our future, with a few opportunities for snow. The longer-range models show lots of storms at the end of March and beginning of April, so perhaps there will be a lot more powder in our future!
