Update

Happy Spring Break 2017! The temperature on Wednesday was warm, with highs in the mid-40s at the summit and near 50F at mid-mountain. We should see similarly warm weather on Thursday with just a few more high clouds filtering the sunshine.

This sunny and warm weather will last through the upcoming weekend and into the beginning of next week.

Then we should see more clouds and a shower next Wednesday, with a significant storm for Thursday, March 23rd. It’s still a bit too soon to know exactly how much snow this storm could bring, but I do think that we’ll see snow for most of the day next Thursday and perhaps into Friday morning as well.

Beyond that time, March 24-26 should be mostly dry and warmer, then another storm will likely hit Colorado on March 27-28. So, after a few weeks of classic spring sunshine, we’ll see more snow during the end of March and likely the beginning of April.
