Update

On Friday morning we are playing the waiting game as the best chance for heavier snow will not be until later Friday afternoon and Friday night. I have very low confidence in the snow forecast because we’ll need some luck in order to have the most intense cells track over Copper and deliver significant snow amounts. If we get these intense cells, we could see 6-10 inches by Saturday morning. If we miss these cells, I think 2-5 inches is the more likely scenario. Regardless of the exact amounts, there should be fresh snow to enjoy on Saturday morning, so plan to hit it early and hope for the best!

Snow showers should decrease or stop altogether on Saturday, but then I can’t rule out a few more showers, mixed with some sunshine, on Sunday. We’ll have a better chance for a few inches of snow on Monday and Monday night, with even heavier snow possible on Tuesday and Tuesday evening. Keep your eye on next Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning as potential powder days.

After that storm, most long-range models show one or two additional storms between April 8-12.
