Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Update

We got lucky when an intense cell dropped a quick 3 inches of snow late on Friday and Friday evening. Thus you’ll find a few inches of fresh snow now on Saturday morning, and there is a fair amount of sunshine, so it’s turning out to be a pretty nice morning. Expect the rest of the weekend’s weather to be mostly dry and at least partly sunny.

Looking ahead to next week, a colder storm should bring snow starting on Monday afternoon, and flakes could continue through Wednesday morning. The track of this storm is going to be further south than forecasts indicated yesterday, so snow totals may not be as high as I once hoped. But I still think we’ll be able to grab 2-4 inches by Tuesday morning with another few inches possible by Wednesday morning.

After that, the next chance of snow will occur between April 8-12.
