Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 7 years ago November 11, 2017
Update
Copper Mountain is now open with three trails in the Center Village area.
The weather on Saturday will be at least partly sunny for most of the day, though we should see a few more clouds and snow showers during the midday and afternoon as a weak storm moves to the north of Colorado.
Sunday through Wednesday should be dry, and then the next chance for snow will be next Thursday night into Friday as another storm moves to the north of Colorado. There is a decent chance that this storm will drop a few inches of snow, and it should also cool temperatures late next week, which will help snowmaking efforts.
After that system, we'll continue to be on the southern edge of the storm track through about Thanksgiving. If we're lucky, another storm or two will drop far enough south to bring more natural snow to Copper, but I cannot pin down the timing just yet.
Thanks for reading and check back daily for a new update!
