Update

The official snow report shows that 5 inches fell between Sunday at midnight and Monday at 5am.

What the snow report will not tell you, but you can see from the snow stake camera, is that at least another 5 inches has fallen between Monday at 5am to 8am. That means that you’ll find at least 10 inches of fresh pow when you get to first chair, and we’ll likely see at least another 1-3 inches between 8am and late morning when the snow begins to taper off. Get out and enjoy the deepness!

We should see the intense morning snow taper off to lighter snow by late morning or noon on Monday, and then expect breaks of sun mixed with snow showers for the rest of Monday.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week and weekend, I think we’ll stay dry for most of the time, but I cannot rule out a storm to our north dropping south into Colorado and potentially bringing light snow to Copper on Wednesday night and again on Saturday night.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for daily morning updates!
