High pressure and clear skies to dominate this week

Summary

Lingering snow showers will occur in the Idaho Panhandle and parts of Southern Idaho today, with some fog in places, and then a large ridge of high pressure will push into Idaho from the Pacific Coast by Tuesday and lead to clear and cold weather in the coming week. Light snow may fall mid-week in Southern Idaho when a low pressure system may push up from the Southwest and Nevada, but only an inch or two of snow is expected from that system at Pomerelle, Magic Mountain, and Sun Valley. More resorts are opening up this week because of all the snow that Idaho received last weekend!
