Sunny skies in N. Idaho; storm coming to S. Idaho resorts Tuesday/Tuesday night

Summary

Mostly sunny conditions are forecast at North Idaho ski areas this week. Bluebird conditions prevail at Schweitzer, Silver and Lookout through Saturday with highs in the 30s to 40s. There's a quick-moving storm coming to S. Idaho resorts on Tuesday/Tuesday night, bringing a chance of 1-3 inches of new snow. Snow levels are projected to be hovering at 6,500 feet today, perhaps even 7,000 south of the Snake River, and drop overnight with low temperatures in the 20s. Pomerelle, Magic and Pebble Creek have a chance of snow each day through Thursday. Elsewhere, it will clear off by Wednesday afternoon, and bluebird conditions are expected Thursday-Saturday, with highs in the mid-30s to 40s.
