By Steve Stuebner, Forecaster Posted 3 years ago January 3, 2021
"Mild" atmospheric river storm hits Idaho Sat. night/Sun. Big *pow*!
Summary
The big event we've been expecting to hit Saturday night, early Sunday morning is now being termed a "mild" atmospheric event by NOAA. Still, it's packing snow quantities of 6-12" overnight, making Sunday a powder day as we round out the Christmas-News Years holiday! An equally big storm hits Monday, bringing another 6-18" of snow through Tuesday morning. The snow will be piling up day after day.
