New snow builds base; next storm favors Sun Valley, S. ID ski areas
Summary
The atmospheric river system Fri-Sat brought a lot of liquid moisture, but it was a mix of snow and rain in places, so the quantities didn't pile up that high. Still, Lookout got hit with 7-11", Tamarack got 7-9", others got 5-6." A cold front will plow through Idaho Sunday night/Monday a.m., bringing potentially 12"+ of heavy snow to Schweitzer, Sun Valley, Pomerelle, Magic and Pebble Creek.
