Early dose of October snow coming our way mid-week

Summary

An Arctic storm system rolled into Idaho in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, bringing a blast of much colder temps and a modest dose of snow. High winds are forecast at Schweitzer, Silver and Lookout with 2-5" of new snow. Tamarack had 5" on the snow stake Wed AM, and Brundage could get up to 8" during the day. Lighter amounts are expected at Bogus and Sun Valley. Pomerelle could get 9."
