Update

Jackson Hole ceased operations for the remainder of the 2019-2020 winter season on Sunday, March 15th. Uphill access is strictly prohibited. Click HERE for the full closure notice.

I'll continue to provide snow forecasts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday through the middle of April. The weather never stops!

We received additional rounds of snow over the weekend, with SNOTEL sites in the Tetons picking up 5-10 inches from Saturday through Sunday. PLEASE remember to check the latest avalanche conditions and forecast before heading out into the backcountry.

Our next round of snow is now on our doorstep and should ramp up on Monday afternoon. This is not an overly strong storm but it should refresh the mountains with 3-6 inches through Monday night.

Light snow showers will then continue into Tuesday and Wednesday, with temps in the 30s on the mountains each day. Additional totals should be limited to 1-3 inches over any 12-hour period.

It does look like we'll remain mostly quiet during the second half of the week and into the upcoming weekend. Colder air should filter into the region but any snow showers should be very light.

Looking further ahead, warmer and drier conditions will likely prevail for the final days of March and into early April. The longer-range models have trouble when the seasons really begin to change so we'll have to take it a week at a time.

Thank you so much for your continued support!

Next update on Wednesday (3/25).
