By Alan Smith, Meteorologist Posted 2 years ago January 7, 2022
Deep totals and challenging conditions
Summary
Up to 24" of new snow fell on Thursday, but it wasn't all good as a warm front arrived with strong winds, wet/dense snow, and dangerous avalanche conditions forcing the upper mtn to shut down for much of Thursday. Conditions will be variable on Friday due to warm temps & wind-effect but it will be deep in some areas. One more round arrives Friday PM with 4-7 inches then we dry out for a while.
