New Year with Snow North and West

Summary

Colder air has moved into the Mid-Atlantic with snow accumulating in the northern and western Mid-Atlantic. Upslope snow to the west and lake effect snow to the north will bring 6-12+ inches of snow from Wednesday through Friday with more snow through the weekend. An interesting storm tracks in from the west late Sunday into Monday, January 6 with snow and mixed precipitation likely.
