Favorable Snowy Weather Pattern After Wednesday

Summary

This week will start with light rain and very light snow to the north. The storm system on Tuesday will track north on Wednesday and funnel cold air into the Eastern US. Cold air with wrap-around moisture will bring light to moderate lake effect snow to the western and northern Mid-Atlantic on Wednesday through the remainder of the week. More widespread snow is possible after Sunday, January 5.
