Deep Totals Likely East of the Divide

Summary

A broad low-pressure trough will transport a cold front through the Treasure State Mon/Mon night triggering widespread snowfall. As the trough digs southeastward on Tues it will draw arctic air into areas mainly east of the Divide triggering another period of snowfall. Big Sky, Bridger, and Red Lodge look prime for storm totals of 8 – 14” by Tuesday evening. Skies clear out Weds and Thurs.
