Weekend Prelude to Next Week’s Main Event
Summary
An active NW flow aloft will transport a few disturbances across the Northern Rockies this weekend with generally light to moderate accumulations through Sunday. Significant snowfall chances appear for Presidents Day Monday as deep Pacific moisture is pulled into the Northern Rockies. An arctic front will then spread into the NR Tuesday bringing a snowy clash of frigid air and Pacific moisture.
